Which house do you consider yourself to be in? Are you more Gryffindor or Hufflepuff? Ravenclaw or Slytherin?
Are you also a murder mystery fan? Murder mystery parties have become very popular over the past few years, especially around Halloween time. Who stole the object? Who was the mastermind behind the money heist? Who killed the victim? The anticipation to find out who did what has become one of the most popular party starters to come.
The Gumon Public Library and Arts Center is putting on an 18 year old and up Harry Potter themed murder mystery party on Oct. 30 at 6 p.m.
“We are really looking forward to this because we had a really great time at our murder mystery party back in 2019 and we didn't get to have one in 2020. We've made some improvements, we've learned from the first one, and this one looks like it's going to be even bigger and better,” said Blair Henson, Library Director.
The library staff has encouraged everyone to come dressed up in costumes and show off your inner Potterhead, but it is not required.
Beverages and food will be provided by Virgil Gibson and desserts provided by Blue Fox Confections.
This event does have a small cost to attend but, all proceeds that are collected will benefit the Guymon Public Library Children's Program.
