District title, undefeated season on the line in Tyrone; Guymon, Texhoma look to finish strong

The Tyrone Bobcats have been like a broken record this season. Two, two-and-a-half quarters, then go home.

More like record-breaking for the Bobcats, which have moved up to No. 3 in the Associated Press Class C poll. It’s all been leading up to this: the district championship Friday night against Kremlin-Hillsdale.

“It’s one step in the process,” head coach Josh Bell said. “You’ve got an undefeated season on the line, you’ve got a district championship on the line.
“We had a good practice (Tuesday), the guys are asking all the right questions, going over scenarios, assignments defensively and things we want to try to accomplish offensively. Practice is normal, as it has been all year long and that’s the way we’re trying to keep it, we just want to keep doing everything just the same way.”
