Benefit basketball game set Thursday

Guymon Junior High will play host to a benefit students vs. staff basketball game Thursday (Feb. 11th) at the Guymon Junior High Tiger Gym. The benefit will raise money for student Juan Salinas, who has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma.

All money raised will go to the Salinas family for medical expenses.

The cost to get in the game will be $2, and drawings will be held for halftime competitions. The game will take place from 5:30-7 p.m.

Refs will be Rusty Boring, Micheal Hall and Kevin Bruer. Announcers will be Eric Johnson and Mr. Lusk.

Score Keeper and Clock: Dani Heckle and Jackie Strickland

Spirit Section Leader: Lindsay Skelton. Any staff member will be welcomed to join her.

Concessions: Michelle Davis/Student Council

Half Time: Raffle tickets $2 – two shots each make it $20

Coach Marshall will run the half time shoot out.

MVP: Physical Education Department (Certificates and Tiger Bag)

Staff Team (Wear Tiger Orange Shirt) will be Marcale Marshall, Philip Collins, Cale Fisher, Tad Ware, Audrey Marshall, Jessica Bickford, Chad Fox, Coach P, Mr. Stufano, Mr. Taylor, Mrs. Dodgion

Rules and Regulations:
1. Jr. High OSSAA basketball rules apply
2. Referees have FINAL SAY
3. Must have TWO girls on the court at all times for both teams.
4. Unlimited Subbing
5. FUN is the game

Head out to the junior high on Thursday evening for fun and games for a good cause.
