BOBBY R. TRAMMELL

March 21, 2015

Bobby R. Trammell, 86, of Pampa, died March 18, 2015 in Pampa.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Eldorado Cemetery in Eldorado, Oklahoma, with Rev. Pete Wylie, pastor of First Baptist Church of Eldorado, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

WALTER LEROY MCCULLAR

Walter Leroy McCullar, 77, of Hooker, Oklahoma passed away March 19, 2015 at his daughters home after a seventeen year battle with bone cancer.

DWIGHT EUGENE JOHNSON

Dwight Eugene Johnson, 58, of Hooker; passed away Thursday evening, March 19, 2015 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.
The son of Margie Ann Johnson, he was born August 1, 1956 in Cushing, Oklahoma. He attended school in Drummond, Oklahoma.
Dwight and Annette Guinn have been companions for 25 years. They moved to Guymon from Drummond in 1997 and have been residents of Hooker for the past year.
Dwight was plant manager for Behne Construction for ten years and for the past year has been employed with Texas County Redi Mix.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters.

Thomas Harland Collins, 86, of Amarillo, died Thursday, March 19, 2015.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2015, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2525 Wimberly Rd. with the Rev. Dr. Clay Brown officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

JANET ELAINE BENNETT ADAMS

Janet Elaine Bennett Adams of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away March 18, 2015. She was born September 30, 1953, to Wilton and Louise Bennett in Guymon, Oklahoma. Janet grew up in Guymon and later moved to the Oklahoma City area and then to Fayetteville.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Adams, her father, Wilton H. Bennett, and two sisters, Phyllis Manos and Sharon Chesnut.

C.E. “BUD” FARIS

C.E. “Bud” Faris, 87, of Amarillo, died Thursday, March 5, 2015, in his beloved home.
Memorial services were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2015, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Ken Cole officiating. Arrangements were by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mr. Faris was born Oct. 10, 1927, in Oklahoma City to Clarence and Mary Wiley Faris. He was a veteran having served in the Coast Guard during World War II. Bud married Doris Smithee on June 17, 1949, in Guymon, Okla., settling in Amarillo, where they raised their family together.

REBECCA LYNN RICHARDS

Rebecca Lynn Richards, age 57, moved to her Eternal Heavenly Home March 10, 2015 Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.
Becky, as she was called, the only daughter of Madalyn and Bob Richards, born June 14, 1956, a born again Chistian is again with her mother.
She leaves on earth a brother, Thomas; her dad, Bob; and relatives and friends.
As she often said, she greatly enjoyed her family and friends. Living was not always easy and she had her temptations, but always knew God provided the answers. You are missed, Becky.

MARY BOWMAN

Optima – Mary Bowman, 36, passed away unexpectedly early Friday, March 13, 2015 at Memorial Hospital of Texas County.
The daughter of Virginia (Fuerstenau) and Donald Eugene Barron, Mary Ellen was born June 3, 1978 in Midland, Texas. She was married to Jerome Bowman on March 11, 2006 in Liberal, Kansas. Mary loved her family and enjoyed watching her children’s activities, especially their sporting events. She was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Guymon, and along with her husband, Jerome, was a Pittsburg Steelers fan.

DONNA LOUISE WARD

Donna Louise Ward, 70, former Optima resident passed away Thursday morning, March 5, 2015 at her home in Newberry Springs, California.
The daughter of Willie Dalvis and Bertha Louise (Gretlein) Martin, she was born July 31, 1944 in Bakersfield, California.
Donna attended school in Perryton, Texas. She was married to Ronny Ward and they had four children. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending her time gardening, playing games and fishing.

PAULINE SHROPSHIRE WHIPPLE BARKER

March 12, 2015

Pauline Shropshire Whipple Barker was born August 23, 1921 in Neosho, Missouri and went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. She was the youngest of five children bron to William and Vassie Shropshire. She graduated from Neosho High School in 1939. Shortly thereafter she met her future husband John Henry Whipple oat a park in Joplin, Missouri. The married April 24, 1940 on John’s 21st birthday in Galena, Kansas. In 1942, their first child Jonna Pauline was born.
