Celebrating four years of business, Dizzy B's Convenience Store continues to serve the residents of Guymon. "We're lovin' every minute of it," said owner/operator Jennifer Williams. Jennifer, along with her husband, Lowell are celebrating four years of what they call "good business." Purchasing the business in 2005, the couple say they have enjoyed every aspect of running their own business, especially here in Guymon. "It's good to see the customers, especially the ones that continue to come back," said Jennifer. "I love seeing the same people every day." Dizzy B's celebrated their fourth anniversary by hosting a free lunch for the public. Radio station KKBS-FM was also on hand with a live remote to give out prizes. Back in August of this year, Dizzy B's received a face lift. They switched gasoline companies to Cenex. As a result, Cenex brought in all new facings for their gas pumps and covers. Williams says they switched to Cenex because they only have to travel to Turpin instead of Amarillo, Texas to purchase gasoline. This allows them to offer fuel at a better, more competitive rate. "We switched because it's just better gas," said Williams. "It also lets us offer gas at a better cost." The Oklahoma Lottery says that Dizzy B's is one of the top selling lottery stores around. According to Nona Perriman, Oklahoma Lottery Representative, Dizzy B's has progressed from being number 17 to their current position of number three under the accounts that she covers. "They know what they are doing and they do it well," said Perriman. Dizzy B's has seen some big winners and recently, a local Optima woman won $1500 on a scratch off lottery ticket. Owner Jennifer Williams may be recognized by her radio commercial. Janine Perry of KKBS-FM helped write her commercial and Williams says that people continue to recognize her from the spoof commercial. The Williams' live in Hooker and bought the business on a "crazy notion." They would like to thank the Guymon community for their continued support and business.
