Although the onset of winter snow storms can make ones schedule a little hectic with driving, the dismissal of school and just getting from point A to point B, no one  can deny the beauty that comes with a heavy snow fall. This snow-packed tree is evidence of this.

Ice forms on plants along Highway 54 near the entrance to Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell on Saturday afternoon. Drizzle and snow flurries, along with temperatures in the mid-20s made for an icy mess on Saturday and early Sunday as an early-season wintry blast struck the Oklahoma Panhandle.
