Although the onset of winter snow storms can make ones schedule a little hectic with driving, the dismissal of school and just getting from point A to point B, no one  can deny the beauty that comes with a heavy snow fall. This snow-packed tree is evidence of this.

A three-day revival will be held at the First Baptist Church Hispania located at 601 N. Academy this Saturday and Sunday. "A huge congregation will attend from all over," said Gil Costilla, a member of the First Baptist Church Hispania. "People from Mexico, New Mexico, Kansas and Oklahoma will attend the event. There will also be many pastors and music at the event, everyone is welcome to come out and hear the word of the Lord."
On Saturday, a special concert will be held for everyone beginning at 6 p.m. and a youth concert will be held at 6:30 p.m. On Sunday at 4 p.m., the Interstate Joint Service will be held for all to come and enjoy.
Costilla is new to Guymon and has been appointed as the Director of the jail and prison ministries. He hopes to open a shelter within the next year to help people who have been in the prison system to get their lives back on track.
