Students and teachers at the Guymon Junior High School can expect a new leader for the 2009-2010 school year.
Michelle Bryson will be that new leader, serving as as the junior high principal and also the athletic director.
Bryson comes from Stephenville, Texas, where she served as the principal at a fifth and sixth grade campus.  She has served as a principal in some capacity for the last six years.
Along with Bryson, comes her husband, who will serve as the head softball coach at Guymon High School, and two children, who will both be attending Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell.
Since arriving in Guymon, Bryson has found nothing but good hospitality and friendly people.
"So far, this has been the friendliest towns I have ever been in," Bryson said.  "I have been treated superbly by everyone."
Bryson has high hopes for the school year and is excited to meet the teachers and the students.
"I heard that I have wonderful teachers," Bryson.  "I am ready to meet both the kids and the teachers so that I can start to build relationships with them."
