Bruce Leon Hankins, 53, died June 28, 2009, Guymon, Okla.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2009, at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas, with Pastor Kyle Ohsfeldt of Grace Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
Mr. Hankins was born March 4, 1956 in Cushing, Okla. He graduated from Portales High School in Portales, N.M. in 1974. He had been a resident of Guymon for 15 years. Bruce was a former oilfield worker for Duke Energy Field Services in Guymon, currently working in various other oilfield construction sites for the past five years.
He is survived by his father Luther Hankins of Pampa, Texas; brother Jeff Hankins of Weatherford, Texas; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother: Patsy Hankins on July 13, 2004.
