Fatality Collision Claims One

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a fatality collision on Wednesday on Highway 64 North and West of Goodwell, Okla. A 2000 International tractor trailer driven by Alex Chea of Hart, Texas was stopped for road construction on Highway 64 when a 2004 Dodge Caravan driven by Rodney O'Hara, 46 of Goodwell, Okla., failed to stop for the construction and struck it from behind.
The driver of the van was pinned for 45 minutes while Highway Patrol and the Texas County Sheriff investigated the scene. O'Hara died at the scene. The wreck was investigated by Trooper Eric Brown of the Hooker Detachment and Trooper Jason Burch and Trooper Trey Sheets of the Texas County Sheriff's Department.
