Although the onset of winter snow storms can make ones schedule a little hectic with driving, the dismissal of school and just getting from point A to point B, no one  can deny the beauty that comes with a heavy snow fall. This snow-packed tree is evidence of this.

Hundreds of bikers partied it up on Main Street of Guymon on Friday night of last week.
Friday, May 8, saw the coming of hundreds of bikers ready to hit the road Saturday morning for the annual 5-State Poker Run. These bikers needed something to do until the Poker Run, and Main Street Guymon gave them just that in the form of the Guymon Outback.
The Guymon Outback served over 700 hamburgers to those that came to celebrate the festivities before the Poker Run. The 'RBC,' 'The Smoking No-No's' and a band provided by the Christian Motorcycle Association played all night for the guests as bikers lined the sides of Main Street and Fifth street with their 'rides' that had several people admiring the lines of machinery. According to Main Street Guymon, there was an estimated 1,000 bikes at the event.
Jeff Wagner wanted to thank all those sponsors that helped pull it off which include all of the following: Guymon Chamber Ambassadors, Bank of the Panhandle, Epic Touch, Tri-County Electric, Anheiser-Busch, USA Feedyards, Seaboard Foods, Hunny's, FNB of Texhoma, United, Walmart, Scotties Bar and Grill, CRI Feeders, The Bricks Restaurant and Lounge, Time Out, City of Guymon Convention and Tourism, City of Guymon, City National Bank and Trust, Clark Auto Ranch, PTCI, Long and McKinnon Insurance, Merle Norman Cosmetics, Perkins Petroleum and Bob's Bar.
"Without the support of our sponsors we wouldn't have been able to bring that event to Guymon for the citizens and bikers to enjoy. We simply wouldn't have been able to pull it off," commented Jeff Wagner of Main Street Guymon.
Information over the 5-State Run will be available soon, as well.
