County Commissioners Approve Dentention Items, Alcoholic Beverage Tax |

The Board of County Commissioners met for their weekly meeting, Monday May 11. The commissioners approved the officers report for court clerk, dispute mediation and county clerk. The Board also approved the transfer of appropriations for general government and assessor. The appointment of Johnny Jones as a juvenile detention worker was approved along with Corrie Flanagan as a detention worker for the Sheriff. The allocation of the alcoholic beverage tax for the month of April was also approved. The Board approved a Post Office Drive request between Hardesty Post office and Arlo Gibson located from Mile 52 & Road FF, 1.2 miles East. Finally the Board approved the FY 09/10 Agreement between Osage County Juvenile Detention Center and Texas County for services.
Joe Robinson was in attendance with the Juvenile Services to hear the approval of the monthly claims for Juvenile Own Home Detention and Transportation, which the Board voted to approve.
