Leadership Guymon Gets a School Education |

Leadership Guymon 2009 visited the OPSU campus and other locations in the Goodwell and Guymon area recently. The Education Session started at 7 in the morning with breakfast at the Ambassador Restaurant. After their meal, they headed to Oklahoma Panhandle State University for a welcome from Dr. Wayne Manning. After the welcome, the class headed to the Noble Activity Center for a briefing from Amber Fesmire. They then headed for the Science and Agriculture building and met with Dean, Dr. Justin Collins. The next stop was one building over to the Firestone Meats Labratory with Director Daren Stephens. From there, they headed over to check out the OPSU Campus Apartments with Director Charles Mark. After they were finished, they made their way to the McKee Library with Director Evlyn Sdhmidt. The class then ventured across the campus to the Art Department to meet with Bryon test, and then finished off with a visit to the Computer Information Systems Department with Dean Diane Murphey before lunch. After lunch, the class left the campus and visited the No Man's Land Museum and then met with Director Debbie Colson. The group then left Goodwell and traveled back to Guymon to visit the Head Start with Director Shawn Lear, The Northridge Christian School with Principal Joan Brooks, Guymon Public Schools with Superintendant Doug Melton, and then finished with a visit to North Park Schools.
