Sixteen 4-H members and leaders that were certified in Archery under the leadership of county archery coordinator, Brad James recently. Now that the certification process is over, the 4-H members will be permitted to participate in upcoming 4-H Archery Contests.

Hundreds of classic car enthusiasts descended on downtown Hooker Saturday for the Flatlanders Car show. The car show took up two blocks of Glaydas Street — Hooker's main drag. There was also a sidewalk sale and live entertainment and food.
