TXCO Sheriff’s Office warns of irregular lightning rod replacement scheme

Reports have been coming in strong in the county of what could potentially be a gypsy scam – individuals that target different communities or areas for money-making opportunities.
According to Matt Boley with TXCO Sheriff’s Office, these individuals have recently been targeting the elderly in the county suggesting a free inspection of lightning rods on the home of the resident.
