Tigers gain momentum with big win over Lamar, Colo.

December 21, 2013

Bryton Aubrey (52) gets into position as Angel Vega (30) bring the ball across mid-court late in Friday's win over Lamar, Colo.

GUYMON — When Bryton Aubrey entered the game for the Guymon Tigers, the large home crowd was on the edge of their seats, Friday night. Aubrey, this year’s Homecoming King, got open in the corner and let loose with his signature 3-pointer — a shot he made during the JV game on Dec. 3 in Beaver.

Aubrey’s shots put the icing on the cake for the Tiger faithful as Guymon downed Lamar, Colo., 71-24 for its second straight win, and momentum heading into the holiday break.

Guymon will be back in action Jan. 7 at Hooker.
