Texhoma Pride dedicated to keeping Texhoma beautiful

October 28, 2012

Texhoma Pride, a group dedicated to cleaning and beautifying the community of Texhoma, was born in March of this year. This group is dedicated to the cleaning and beautifying of the community.
They have done many thing to help better the look of the Texhoma community, including sponsoring a “Clean Sweep” that allowed them to show off the town’s new street sweeper and kick off the town’s clean up commitment.
Texhoma Pride members have been traveling to area towns to visit other area city clean up advocates to keep the inspiration going to keep Texhoma beautiful.
As the Christmas season approaches, Texhoma Pride says that decorations are much needed, and to help raise money for the holiday decorations, the Hispanic community of Texhoma volunteered to host a Mexican Pile On that took place on Oct. 7.
There is also an option to make a donation for a Christmas wreath in honor or memory of someone.
To do this, contact Sheri Leach at 580-423-7541. Texhoma Pride can also be found on Facebook.
