The 29th Annual Pumpkin Patch Benefit will take place Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 5-6. The event will take place at the Texas County Activity Center in Guymon.
The public is invited to attend Saturday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be no admission fee. Around 100 exhibitor booths will feature a variety of arts and crafts which include floral, clothing, ceramics, candles, wood, stained glided, jewelry, and more. Several artists will also exhibit their paintings, sculpture, drawings, and pottery.
There will also be several pre-packaged food and commercial exhibitors this year. Lambda Psi, a chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, is sponsoring the event. Proceeds from the Pumpkin Patch Benefit are donated to community services in the Oklahoma Panhandle. Charities that have benefited from the generosity of Lambda Psi over the past 29 years include Meals on Wheels, Special Olympics, American Heart Association, Panhandle Area Workshop, Panhandle Lions Club Shopping Spree, Ministerial Alliance Christmas Basket Project, YMCA, Kid’s Inc. and the Oaks of Mamre.
Donations have also been made to medical funds and people in need within the communities of the Oklahoma Panhandle. The sorority now sponsors two scholarships to high school senior girls each year.
A concession stand will be provided by the Guymon High School Band Boosters. Come out and get an early start on your Christmas shopping at one of the best craft shows in the area. We hope to see you at the 29th Annual Pumpkin Patch Benefit Show.
