Guymon’s Sunflower Festival has become the “All Reunion Weekend” for Guymon since 2009.
The event - Sunflower Art Food and Wine Festival - has hosted Insufficient Funds, an Amarillo band at every Sunflower festival to date.
The band features Guymon graduate Chuck Alexander, and has committed to playing at this year’s festival.
Reunion organizers are invited to call Wild Horse Gallery director Becky Robinson at 338-4278.  Robinson has both a sign-up sheet and will be publicizing activities of class reunions, as well as presenting the special Spirit Stick to the class showing the most class spirit.
“We offer some help to class reunion organizers, here at Wild Horse Gallery as Guymon’s All Reunion Weekend headquarters,” Robinson said. “This includes coordinating communications and planning special events for the individual classes.  We want all to feel welcome and be a resource for class reunion organizers.”
The date for this year’s Sunflower Art, Food and Wine Festival is June 8-9.
Friday evening events start at 7 p.m., in downtown Guymon, and Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
