Mr. Burger is coming up on 40 years of business within the next year, and owner Theron Landes plans to give back to the community to help celebrate the success of this business.
On Aug. 10, 2013, there will be a drawing for a lucky individual that wins a car after entering for the drawing. The way this works, is that every time someone goes into Mr. Burger or Taco Tico, that individual gets to get their name put in a drawing for the car.
âEvery time they order something we will give them a ticket to enter or they can send a stamped envelope with an address to the office and we will send them an entry form,â says Landes. âThey can enter as many times as they want.â
There will be seven live remotes, which will be kicking off this Friday, Aug. 10, and will be spread out for the next year until Aug. 10 of 2013, when he final name will be drawn. The first remote will be at Mr. Burger in Guymon, and the rest will alternate between Mr. Burger in Hooker, Guymon, and Taco Tico in Guymon.
At each remote, there will be dinner specials, t-shirts, and everyone will be able to enter to win the car. At each remote, some names will be drawn until 40 are drawn out total. Those 40 names will be put in the final drawing for the car next year, and one of those 40 will walk away with the car.
Landes encourages everyone to come and help enjoy the 40 years of business and get involved for chances to win the car.
âWe are wanting to celebrate our 40th year here in Guymon and want to give something back,â said Landes.
Mr. Burger will be holding a $2.99 chicken dinner special this Friday during their live remote and it will take place at the Mr. Burger location in Guymon from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Remotes following Fridayâs will be on Oct. 19, 2012; Jan. 18, 2013; June 14; July 12; July 26, and Aug. 10.
