The Terry Burden Memorial Gun Club held it’s youth trap and rifle shoot on Aug. 19. Eighteen young shooters showed up to enjoy the day.Â
Medals, provided by Traders Pawn and Gun, were once again given out to the top three shooters in each age group for both trap and rifle.Â
For the 12 & Under Trap shoot, 1st place went to Ryan Huddleston; 2nd place went to Zachary League; and 3rd place went to Cody Pierce.Â
In the 13 & Up age group 1st place trap went to Bonner Talley; 2nd place went to Devan Romero; and 3rd place went to Bret Pierce.Â
Results for the 12 and Under rifle shoots were: 1st place – Ryan Huddleston; 2nd place Cody Pierce; and 3rd place went to Kaitlyn Huddleston.Â
In the 13 and Up rifle shoot 1st place went to Dakota Burden; 2nd place went to Tyler Moon; and 3rd place went to Grant Freeman.Â
Other shooters for the day were:Â Jordan Burden, Chance Ackley, Tarrik Sides, Kelsie Kistler, Ashlye Reardon, Dylan Romero, Rance Long, and Brian McCann.Â
The gun club would like to thank Cindy Reardon and Julie Pierce for bringing snacks for the kids and Sandra Ackley and Janet Long for providing the drinks for the day.Â

Thank you all for your support! Next shoot will take place on Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. The club will then be taking two teams and two individuals to the Kinsley Kids Klassic shoot on Sept. 15, followed by their annual cookout and fun shoot for all the kids and their families on Oct. 7.Â
