LeRoy Osborn

LeRoy Osborn, 65, of Tyrone, passed away peacefully at his
home surrounded  by his family and loved ones.  
He was born Dec. 15, 1946 at Hamburg, IA, the son of Gabriel W. &  Helen M. Root Osborn.
LeRoy was a proficient mechanic and was owner and operator 
of Osborn Repair since 1980. He was a family man that loved to
hunt, cars and racing,  boating and to play bingo and cards with 
family and friends.
He married Donna Louise Culver on Aug. 1, 1968 at Ledman,
Mo., she preceded him in death.
He is survived by one son Jonathan Osborn and wife Charlie Ann of Tyrone; four daughters, Samantha Wishon and husband Tyler of Tyrone;  Lisa Prideaux and husband Greg of Valley Center, Kan.;
LaDonna Stephens of Savannah, Mo.;  Debbie Meeks of Muncie, Ind.;
two sisters  Joyce Horton and husband Ed of Tyler, Texas; 
Juanita Sullender and husband Ralph of Dearborn, Mo.;
10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 
He was preceded
in death by his wife, parents, son Benton Meeks and 
grandson Terry Stephens.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the
Tyrone High School Auditorium.
Interment will be in the Tyrone Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the Tyrone Fire Department
in care of the mortuary.
