Kim Ellen Hays

Kim Ellen Hays, 55, longtime Guymon resident, passed away Wednesday morning, Jan. 4, 2012 at her home.
The daughter of Mary Faye (Ballew) and Buddy R. Carson, she was born July 19, 1956 in Oklahoma City. She attended Classen schools. 
Kim was reared in a car racing family. Her father, Bud Carson, brought racing to Oklahoma, with his own Mar-Car company and he was a longtime track manager of the Oklahoma Fair Grounds. The entire family promoted and participated in racing.  She was united in marriage to Brian Todd Hays on Feb. 13, 1987 in Oklahoma City.
Kim loved her family; her girls and grandchildren were her RFL (reason for living).  She was a volunteer and champion for the Northwest Domestic Crisis Center and a longtime friend of Bill W.  She was also a member of Living Word Fellowship.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Hays; three daughters, Jamie and husband Chan Boley, Traci and husband Jesse Weigand, all of Goodwell, and Toni and husband Brett Honey of Guymon; a brother Shane Carson and wife Debbie of Yukon, Okla. 
Kim was “Nana Bug “ to her adored seven grandchildren, Conner Boley, Isaiah Hays, Trinity Ashcraft, Khloe Gose, Taylor Boley, Jaxon and Maddox Weigand. 
She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law, Fontaine and Bob Hays of Guymon; brother-in-law, David Hays and wife Teresa of Tulsa; and her lifelong best friend, Joann Andrews of Guymon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Bud Carson; and two brothers, Scott Carson and Steve Carson.
Memorial services will be Saturda, Jan. 7, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Living Word Fellowship, 802 N Roosevelt in Guymon, with Rev. Dale Stephens, pastor, officiating.  Services and cremation are under the care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors.
