Junius E. “Slim” Williams

Junius E. “Slim” Williams, 74, passed away Saturday morning, Aug. 4, 2012 at his home in Guymon.
Slim was born July 30, 1938 in Honey Grove, Texas to James Sanford and Ethel (Townsend) Williams. He was raised and attended school in the Bovina, Texas area.
He was united in marriage to Frances M. Moore on January 1, 1960 in Clovis, N.M.
Mr. Williams worked in the farming industry in Spearman, Texas and Johnson, Kan. before moving to Guymon in 1992.
He was a 32nd Degree Mason, joining the lodge in Johnson, Kan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Williams of the home; one son, Toby Williams of Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter, Angela Rutledge of Oklahoma City; two granddaughters, Linzee Killgore of Oklahoma City and Lachelle Westfhal of Norman.
He is also survived by three brothers and three sisters.
Memorial services will be Wednesday morning, Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel with Slim’s brother, Chaplin RonnieWilliams officiating.
The Williams family suggests that memorials in memory of Slim be made to the American Cancer Society. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
