The town of Hooker will be holding it’s 3rd annual, “Lighted Parade on Gladys” December 12. The parade will come at the end of what is promised to be a fun day of shopping and games. The 12th day of Christmas scavenger hunt will begin at noon. Participants are asked to pick up their cards at the library and all cards must be returned by 6 p.m. with at least 12 businesses signing off on them to the library in order to be eligible for prizes. Twelve cards will be drawn after the parade and each winner will receive $100 in cash. During this time, 12 turkeys will also be given away by Hooker’s Chamber of Commerce, who is the sponsor for the events of the day. Be sure to visit Hooker, do some shopping and have some fun!
