Hooker Lions Club Carnival Promises a Roaring Good Time

The past few years the Hooker Lions have been silent but this Saturday they will roar again, with the community’s help, by presenting a carnival in downtown Hooker at 5:30 p.m.
The concession stand will offer a $5 hamburger meal deal that includes the burger, chips and a drink. Or for $4, you can have the meal deal with a hot dog, chips and drink. Individual items and pies will also be for sale. The Hooker Ministers’ Alliance is working the concession stand.
All ages of carnival-goers will have fun Saturday at a great price – tickets are only 25 cents each. For the young ones, there will be kiddie rides like cars and buckets. Everyone will enjoy the snow cones, cake walk, roulette wheel, tick-tack-toe, plinko, football toss and fishing pond.
Funds raised during the carnival help the Hooker Lions to fund community projects throughout the year. So, the public can have a great time while raising money for a good cause.
