A group of Guymon teens are spreading a little bit of the joy of the Guymon Nazerene Church to groups of people in California.
Youth and Family Pastor Matt West loaded up 22 youth and five adults for the ten day mission to San Fransisco. During this trip, the teens are working with a group in Oakland to provide Vacation Bible School for almost 200 children in Chinatown.
Many activities help to fill their days such as crafts, songs, spending time with residents at an assisted living facility, handing out meals in poverty-stricken neighborhoods, and teaching Bible lessons as well as sharing their faith.
The Nazerene Church group will be returning to the Panhandle on the evening of Monday, July 30 after their great 10 day experience in California.
