Guymon JV splits with Goodwell-Yarbrough

The Guymon junior varsity lost the first game of a doubleheader at Goodwell 3-2 and then won the second game 14-1 which counted as a junior varisty contest for both teams.
Goodwell-Yarbrough pitcher Shaylee Kelso struck out one Lady Tiger in the first game. Guymon’s Miranda Sandoval also had one strike out.
“The second game we lost our focus a little bit,” said Goodwell-Yarbrough head coach Gary Page.
“Our junior high played pretty good,” he added.
Goodwell-Yarbrough’s junior high team beat the Guymon JH 9-3.
The Tornadoes’ Paige Jones struck out four batters.
