Guymon High School began two-a-day football practices Tuesday. There will be at least 52 players on the 2012 roster. GHS will host Hooker and Turpin for a scrimmage on Thursday, Aug. 16, at 5 p.m. GHS head coach Bryan Ballard is calling it the “towel and soap” scrimmage and asking that people attending the scrimmage donate towels and soap for the GHS football program. There is otherwise no admission for the scrimmage. GHS will also scrimmage at Texhoma on Aug. 24. The Tigers will open the season at Kingfisher on Aug. 31 and will host Liberal Sept. 7.
