The 2015-16 season, as with every team, has been a series of goals for the Guymon Tigers and Lady Tigers. For coach Troy Cox and the Tiger boys, Tuesday night’s 51-47 win over Lakin, Kansas, was just another step to the ultimate goal of making a deep playoff run.

Guymon begins that run Friday night in Lawton against an Eisenhower squad that comes in at 18-4 on the season and ranked No. 3 in the Class 5A poll. Ike’s four losses have come to Class 6A Putnam City North, Putnam City West and Midwest City — all ranked in the Top 10 in 6A at the time.
