The Guymon Jr. 4-H Club held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 3:30 at Academy School.   The president called the meeting to order.  The vice president led the pledges and 4-H ritual.    The secretary called role and read the minutes.  The treasurer gave a report.  Maggie Bellew gave a report on Oakwood Mall Day.  Samuel Oakes gave a report on the County 4-H Speech Contest.
Beyonce Villareal gave a report on the 4-H Science Fair.  Sarah Lindley told us about ideas for “March Bake and Take Month.”
The Guymon Jr. 4-H Club plans to bake and take pizza to a homeless shelter during the March meeting.
In the new business portion of the meeting members made plans to work in the county stock show Concession stand on Tuesday, Feb 21 from 8 a.m.-Noon. Members volunteered to bake pies and cookies.
Maggie Bellew gave a speech about Ronald McDonald House, and Samuel Oakes gave a speech about Theodore Roosevelt. The 4-H members also made bouncy balls to study the chemical reaction that occurs between borax and glue. The members really enjoyed the experiment and got to take a bouncy ball home.  The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 6 at 3:30 p.m. at Academy Elementary School.
