Church’s new program aims to help those in need

Lifeway Christian Center in Guymon is "blessed to be a blessing," striving to serve the community and has kicked off a brand new program to help neighbors in need.
The purpose of "The Bridge" is to offer food to families who made need a little extra help. Lifeway is working with United, who is weekly donating food items for the outreach.
Pastor Dallas McGlasson said, "It's an outreach for needy families in the city, just to help out."
He went on to say, the items vary week to week and include bakery items such as breads and cakes and expect to have can good and chips in the near future.
Participation is free and open to the public with no paperwork required, simply come and recieve.
"It's free food for any family in need," McGlasson said.
The Bridge will be open every Thursday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Lifeway Christian Center Activity Building, located at 621 N. Quinn.
For more information about the outreach, flyers have been posted at United, Dollar General and on the Northridge Shopping Center bulletin board or call Pastor Dallas at Lifeway at 338-3904.
