2 Guymon Gators named to WKSC all-academic team

The Western Kansas Swim Club recently named two members of the Guymon Gators Swim Club to the 2012 WKSC All-Academic Team.
Student-athletes were selected for exemplary achievements in both academics and the sport of swimming. The WKSC, a member of Missouri Valley Swimming LSC, and USA Swimming, covers a three-state area: Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, and includes Guymon, Spearman and Dumas, Texas, and and Hays, Colby, Great Bend, Dodge City, Scott City, Garden City, Lakin, Ulysses, Leoti and Liberal, Kan.
Aly Freeland, a sophomore at Guymon High School, and the daughter of Mike and Darci Freeland, was also named to the 2012WKSC All-Academic Team with honors for maintaing a 4.38 GPA.
Kaleb Brown is an eighth grade student at Guymon Junior High School, and is the son of Steve and Marlene Brown.
