The Lady Tigers showed up to play in the third quarter Tuesday night.
Stratford had a 24-17 lead going into the second half.
Guymonâs 17-10 third period was not enough make a difference. The Lady Elks won 56-37.
âThat was it. Game over,â Guymon head coach Amanda Boggs said of the first half.
âThe third quarter was the only quarter we showed up,â she said.
âStratford showed up and played basketball and we didnât,â Boggs said.
Ashlyn Wadley led the Lady Tigers with 15 points, followed by Denesse Longoria with 11. Wadley and Jahaira Marquez each sank a 3-point goal.
