Tyrone teacher investigated for second degree rape, indecent exposure

On December 15, 2015, Texas County Sheriff Matt Boley was contacted by the Superintendent of the Tyrone, Oklahoma Public School District. The Superintendent reported that he had been made aware of an inappropriate relationship between a Tyrone Public School teacher and a student.

Nutrition is the main topic at the Main Street Guymon Healthy Moment on Jan. 28. Kim Zigler, nutritionist at Texas County Memorial Hospital is going to speak on nutrition at the moment, which takes place from 5 to 6 pm at the hospital.

Goodwell Boosters near goal, prepare for new playground

The Goodwell Eagles Booster Club is nearing their monetary goal for a new playground structure and equipment for Goodwell Public Schools. Booster club members Cheslea Collins and Julie McDaniel say the new structure has been ordered, and now the hard work begins.
