David Lee Kleffman

David Lee Kleffman was born in Guymon on Aug. 25, 1946 passed away in Oklahoma City on May 16, 2012. He was the oldest child born to Fred Kleffman and Dorothy Sturdivan Kleffman.
He attended Guymon Public Schools and was a long time member of the Church of the Nazarene in Guymon.
Through the years, David worked at Tri-State Grocery Store, Texas County Fairgrounds, United Supermarket, TG& Y Store, McCroy’s and Walmart.
David loved his friends, family and his church. His friends in his sunday school class were especially special to him.

Bradley Wayne Chill

Bradley Wayne Chill, 62, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at the San Diego VA Hospital in California.
The son of Lois L. (Mathiot) and Alfred A. Chill, he was born Aug. 16, 1949 in Great Bend, Kan. 
Brad attended Guymon schools and graduated from Guymon High School with the Class of 1967. 
He was a member of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church.  As a Vietnam veteran, Chill served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne and fought near the  De Nang and Hue regions.  He attained the rank of Sgt. and was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor.

Faye Kneeland

Faye Kneeland, 87, of Guymon passed away Monday afternoon, May 21, 2012 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.
The daughter of Ora Lee and Dulcia May (O’Conner) Achord, she was born on April 16, 1925 in Stockton, Mo.  
Faye was united in marriage to Everett Kneeland on May 16, 1942 in Vinita, Okla.  In 1946 they moved from Vinita to Guymon.  Faye was a homemaker and Everett’s bookkeeper. 
She attended the Nazarene Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Everett in April of 2009, and ten brothers and sisters.

Chris A. Campbell

Chris A. Campbell, 55, of Guymon passed away Sunday afternoon, May 20, 2012 at Memorial Hospital of Texas County following a brave battle with cancer.

The son of Robert Eugene and Audria Marie (Overton) Campbell, he was born Nov. 7, 1956 in Beaver, Okla.  Chris attended school in Beaver, graduating with the Class of 1975. 

Following graduation, he attended Panhandle State University in Goodwell for 3-½ years.

Bradley Wayne Chill

Bradley Wayne Chill, 62, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at the San Diego VA Hospital in California.

Donald Allton Townsend

Donald Allton Townsend, age 72, died Sunday, May 20, 2012, at his home in Oklahoma City.

He was born April 11, 1940, in Memphis, Texas, to Lewis W. and Violet Zelma (Gable) Townsend.

He grew up in Memphis, was a 1958 graduate of Memphis High School and attended Clarendon Junior College.

He worked over 38 years for General Telephone Company before retiring in 1993. He had been a resident of the Yukon/Mustang area since 2011, moving from Hemphill, Texas.

Faye Kneeland

Faye Kneeland, 87, of Guymon passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Mary Lee Rodman, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, May 18, 2012 at Baptist Regional Health Center, Miami, Okla.
The daughter of Opal (Cobler) and Joseph Wyant, she was born Sept. 20, 1927 in Orlando, Okla. She was united in marriage to Hugh Rodman on Oct. 1, 1946 in Liberal, Kan.
The Rodmans ran a Kirby Vacuum Distributorship many years in Jonesboro, Ark.

Xander Storm

Xander Storm Hardy, 6-1/2  month-old son of Becky Moore and David Hardy, passed away Monday morning, May 14, 2012 at the Northwest Texas Hospital, Amarillo, Texas.

Xander Storm was born Oct. 24, 2011 in Guymon.  He lived with his family in Hugoton, Kan. and was the much-adored little “Xman."  He brought joy to all who met him.  He is with Jesus now, but he will be terribly missed here on earth.
