Billy Joe âBJâ Smith, 80, died on Thursday, January 26, 2012 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. His graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Fairlawn Cemetery. Memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the University Heights Baptist Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma with Pastor John Bugg officiating. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Rosie E. Raff, 90, of Oklahoma City, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at St. Anthonyâs Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at the Church of Christ in Hooker, Oklahoma with Matt Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Hooker Cemetery directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Hooker, Oklahoma.

Susan Jane Brewer was born March 10, 1956 to Glenn and Nancy (Williams) Muir at Canadian, Texas. On Jan. 25, 2012, she died in her home at Hardesty; being able to be in her home until the end was her last wish.
She grew up in the Oklahoma Panhandle attending grade school at Adams, Oklahoma and graduating from Hardesty High School. Susan and Randy Brewer were married in April 1982 and had a daughter, Nikki and a son, Beau.

Autumn Jeanne Homer, age 49, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 15.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan to Richard and Leola Homer who are deceased.
In 1970 her family moved to Colorado Springs. Following graduation from high school Autumn attended Arizona State in Tempe, Ariz. Autumn continued her life adventures traveling and living throughout the United States.
On Aug. 26, 1991 she gave birth to her son John Tanner Matoy, who was the love of her life.

Brenda Sue Higgins, 67, of Elkhart, Kan. died Jan. 21, 2012 at Morton County Hospital, Elkhart. She was born May 22, 1944 in Mineral Wells, Texas, the daughter of Elza James and Mildred (Neil) Ingram.

Claudia Cole, 81, former longtime Texhoma resident, passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 at Grace Living Center, Oklahoma City.
Claudia Mae Brown was born Feb. 8, 1930 at Eola, Texas to Etta Mae (Steadman) and Thomas Claude Brown. She graduated as valedictorian from Miles High School in Miles, Texas in 1947.Â
While waiting tables at her parentsâ cafe, she met John Cole. After a short two month courtship, they were united in marriage on Dec. 6, 1947 at Robert Lee, Texas. The Coles lived in Friona, Texas, for nine years prior to moving to Texhoma in 1967.Â
Willa âDeanâ Smith, 86, of Stratford, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at the Church of Christ in Stratford. Brad Beckett, minister of the church, will be officiating, assisted by Jim York.
Interment will follow in Stratford Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.
Dean was born on May 11, 1925 in Delaware, Okla. to Luke and Ruth Crupper. She was united in marriage to B.L. âChuckâ Smith on Aug. 10, 1942 in Fritch, Texas. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1987.
