Guymon resident artist Brooke Hitch to open this Thursday downtown at Guymon’s Wild Horse Gallery, Thursday, February 10th: You may not recognize Artist Incubation’s Wild Horse Gallery Thursday evening! Aged metal, polished stone, treasures of old-a presentation of past, present and future -Brooke’s latest jewelry designs were inspired by her recent tour of Italy and Parma.Â

Rita Fern Godfrey, 34, Marshfield, MO, formerly of Guymon, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in her home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Royce Hendrix.
Survivors include two sons, Derek Godfrey and Clayton Godfrey; her mother, Nelda; two brothers, Lyle Hendrix and Barry Lynn Hendrix; a sister, Velda Wegman; and a half-sister, Janice Devich.
Funeral services were Sunday, February 6, 2011 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield, MO. Interment will be in the Marshfield Cemetery.

Nellie “Joan” (Stanley) Waddle, died in the loving arms of her husband, Herb Waddle on his 80th birthday, February 3, 2011 in their home in Kaw City. She was 74 years of age.

Joan was born May 9th, 1936 in Catsby, Oklahoma, the eighth child born to Oscar J. Stanley and Jessie L (Barrett) Stanley. Joan grew up in Woodward, Oklahoma and on May 17, 1951 she married Herbert C. Waddle in Woodward. To this union was born three daughters.
